Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Via Vera BookIt platform and SMS-based booking service operated by Via Vera LLC ("Via Vera," "we," "our," or "us"). By submitting a service request through our booking form, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not submit a service request or provide your phone number to receive SMS communications.
Service Description
Via Vera operates the BookIt SMS Booking Service — a platform that enables home service companies to receive service requests and communicate with customers via automated SMS messages.
Through this service, you may receive transactional SMS messages including:
- Service request confirmations
- Appointment scheduling links
- Appointment confirmation details
- Technician arrival or status notifications
Via Vera acts as a technology platform. The actual home services are provided by independent third-party service providers, not by Via Vera.
SMS Messaging Terms
By submitting your phone number through our booking form and checking the required consent checkbox, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Via Vera's BookIt SMS Booking Service. This consent is not required to receive service.
How to Opt In: Submit the service request form at viavera.co and check the required consent checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default and the form will not submit without it.
Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary based on your service request status. You may receive up to 5 messages per service request.
Message & Data Rates: Msg & Data Rates May Apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
To Opt Out (STOP): Reply STOP to any message at any time to cancel. You will receive one final confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Reply START to re-subscribe.
To Get Help (HELP): Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at evan@viavera.co.
Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing or receiving any goods or services. You may opt out at any time without penalty.
No promotional or marketing messages will be sent through this service. All messages are strictly transactional and directly related to your service request.

Opt-In and Opt-Out
How You Opt In: You opt in to receive SMS messages by submitting our booking form at viavera.co and checking the required consent checkbox. The form will not submit without your affirmative consent. Pre-checked boxes are not used.
How You Opt Out: You may opt out at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS message you receive
- Emailing us at evan@viavera.co and requesting removal
Supported Help Keywords: HELP, INFO
Upon opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. No further messages will be sent until you re-subscribe by replying START.
User Responsibilities
By using the Via Vera BookIt service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information in your service request
- Only submit requests for services at locations where you have authorization to request service
- Not misuse or abuse the SMS messaging service
- Notify us if your phone number changes so we can update our records
Third-Party Service Providers
Via Vera connects customers with independent home service companies. These providers are not employees or agents of Via Vera. Via Vera does not control, supervise, or guarantee the work performed by third-party service providers.
Via Vera is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, safety, or outcome of services provided by third-party service providers. Any disputes regarding the actual service performed should be directed to the service provider.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Via Vera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use our platform or SMS service
- Delays, failures, or errors in SMS message delivery
- Actions or omissions of third-party service providers
- Any service scheduling delays or missed appointments
Via Vera's total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to Via Vera in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Via Vera platform and SMS service are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Via Vera service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Your use of the Via Vera service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
